Abstract:?The cycling process and control mechanism of carbon and water in terrestrial ecosystems and their response to environmental change under global changes are prominent scientific problems in the fields of ecology and the global change for a long time. Eddy covariance is a powerful method for in-situ, continuous and high-frequency observation of the carbon and water exchange process in ecosystems. Qianyanzhou Ecological Research Station (QYZ), as one of the first field station establishing the system of eddy covariance in China, has been continuously accumulating scientific observation data of carbon and water fluxes of artificial coniferous forests for 17 years. In order to promote the development of carbon and water fluxes of terrestrial ecosystem in China and even the world, QYZ published the carbon and water fluxes and related meteorological data observed and processed from 2003 to 2010. The dataset includes the data of gross ecosystem primary productivity, ecosystem respiration, net ecosystem productivity, latent heat flux, sensible heat flux, air temperature, air relative humidity, vapor pressure, wind speed, wind direction, soil temperature, soil moisture, solar radiation, photosynthetic active radiation, and precipitation, etc. The dataset is composed of the observation data on scales of half hour, day, month, and year.
